I didn't snipe...I put that bid in an hour before the auction ended. I hate snipers.

Man, I thought there was no way I'd win that one at that price. That was the only bid I put in on it. I actually can't afford it, but I couldn't afford to pass it up, either. I'm sure it'll be up for sale soon.

I was watching that one too but wasn't sure about it. What did you see that convinced you to go for it?

I decided I'd try a bidsniper just to see if they work as well as some people claim. Had I been doing it *my* way (without a sniper) you wouldn't have gotten it because I would have already bid it up yesterday heh.

I've got the sniper set on another one, but this time I put a prebid on it so that (hopefully) people won't bid against me. If this snipe fails I'll go back to my old way of doing things that rarely fails me... bidding manually

And yeah, I'm sure it'll be up for sale, and I'm sure I won't get it for $31.53 either, lol.

I don't really know, Tom. I saw Dubl Duck, I saw Goldedge, I saw it was in pretty good shape, so I thought I'd go for it. I really didn't think I'd win it. I wasn't going over my winning bid, and I figured somebody would outbid me in the last minute.

It certainly looked like it was in good shape. I hope you got a real steal there, Joe. The pic wasn't as clear as I'd like but I think you probably got a real nice duck. Let me know how much beer you want in trade for it when you're done with it

LOL...I've been looking for a deal on one of those for a long time. A little time on the buffer and hone might yield a great razor. I hope so. I just hate the seller doesn't take paypal. I daresay that's a major reason it didn't go higher. I try not to jack the prices up on the razors I sell too much, though. I get them, clean them, hone them, shave with them, and often, re-sell them. I'm hoping I'll be able to re-wash the shank with gold (I have a source). The handles looked good, and the blade didn't have too much hone wear, so I think it'll be a good one. We'll see.
