Yep, I like them, took a little getting used to but no more than anything else new.

I like them also. I have big hands and like how the razor rests in my hands when shaving. I feel uncomfortable when using a razor without thumb notches. As always, personal preference and what you're used to wins out.

Thumb notches
Gentlemen:
I have three razors that are plagued by the thumb notch. I love two of them — and would have loved them even more had they been without it.
I like the thumb notch about as much as I do the mustache on the shank of some razors, namely the Dovo Bergischer Lowe and some of the Filarmonias.
For heaven's sake.

I see here and have seen in the past posts about certain thumbnotches being easier to strop and others more difficult. Could some of the greater good give specifics about what made some easier than others possibly with pictoral examples? I ask for many reasons, but it seems like this section of this topic is uncovered in thumbnotch threads.
