Thread: Should We Have More Membership Levels??

I didn't get any stars either Joe and am permanently scarred for life. Kinda like the letter jacket thing you know (everybody ought to get one, I worked my butt off for mine)

I'm with Joe. I think we should reduce the titles to simply member or something similar from the shaving aspect.

They indicate time as a member; each star is 6 months of belonging to SRP. Hold your mouse over pretty much any icon on this site and a description will pop up after a second.

I want the blabber mouth designation added.

I'm with Rich, but I think the way to impliment it is just how Joe has. The blabmeister icon at 2000 posts. Congratulations X-man. Well deserved.

at most, leave it as it is, at best forget about ranking as it means nothing. Number of posts in no way correlate with SR shaving knowledge.

dr. chris moss from shave my face signed in some time ago and has only like 2 posts. He actually wrote a very helpful manual on Sr shaving that brought me to this site.

and josh, how many posts did you have before you even got your first straight razor?


when i think about it, "earning" the rank of honemeister sure didnt improve my honing ability!

I am puttin my vote in for Rich for Blabbermouth. Although he does qualify for the Queen title as per the qualifications previously posted.

Thanks, I was wondering about that. So, it's a longevity award. This is one case where nobody will ever have more stars than me. It kind of makes up for all those stars I missed in kindergarten. Maybe my psyche will now recover!

Of course, that information is also there on every post, but it's fun to see those guys spinning around.

Actually, the number of posts divided by the number of months of membership is a valuable indicator. It gives you an availability factor- those guys with time on their hands. So, if we need something to be done here, those are the go-to guys. We need to keep that list in a prominent place.
