Thread: Turkish Shave

This is what trip to the barber should be like. There is a Philipino lady in Mississauga that does the massage treatment at the end of the shave but not near as much as this.

Anyone know what they are doing at about 1:04?

It is called singeing, you burn off the last remaining fine hairs to produce a hair free shave. This system was also used by some barbers after a hair cut to get straglers. Then the threading is another way to get the last few fine hairs also, he does that after the singeing.

Now that's just cool.
