    Default Photo that makes me Cringe

    This photo is from a well known shaving products website in Europe.

    It really makes me cringe to see how they store the straight razor in this stand...

    You mean that this is not how everyone stores his straight? Open and next to a wet brush. Maybe this is why all my blades rust. At least the divots from the standard's rings seem to corrode more slowly.

    The problem isn't just with whoever took the picture, it's also with whoever designed the stand.
    There is no way it will hold anything larger than a 4/8 (and I'm not even sure a 4/8 would fit).

    Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
