Great googly moogly, Obie. Looks like you've got one of everything and at least two of the good stuff. Where do you find room to shave in there.

Thanked: 1195Obie, a very fine shave den indeed! Many a member will be envious, I'm sure. I yearn for the day I can have my shaving gear out in the open, but with kids in the house and all..........

Obie,
Geezzzz.... I thought I had a lot of shaving equipment.
Your shave den must set some kind of world's record for shaving paraphernalia. It would take me a goodly amount of time deciding which razor, brush, strop, etc. I'd like to use for my daily shave. I'd never get to work.
Congratulations. I'm certain that you get a real kick out of making use of the razors, etc. you have collected over the years."Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Mark Twain

Hello, Lori:
My bathroom counter is relatively small. That's why everything looks jammed together. I have to keep some things in the closet and take them out when I want to use them. The sink is to the left of that stuff and it, too, has its share of goodies. That shave den is my little private world, where I fade away for about an hour every morning.
Regards,
Obie

Obie, I think you made a mistake. These pictures must be old because I've looked and looked and can't see any Martin de Candre!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Thanked: 993That does look like a nice counter-top. I love the straight razor racks.

Hello, LegalBeagle:
Actually I took the photos last night. As I explained to Lori, with limited space on the bathroom counter, I keep many products in the open closet nearby and bring them out when needed. Martin de Candre, I Coloniali, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Tabac, Castle Forbes, D.H. Harris, Coates, Edwin Jagger, Provence Sante, Pre de Provence and Cella are in the closet. Also some of the aftershaves. They come out as part of the regular rotation. The soaps pictured in the mugs on the little shelf are Valobra, L'Occitane, Truefitt & Hill and what's left of my Lothantique Le Collectionneur.
I'm in heaven.
Regards,
Obie

Thank goodness. I was beginning to worry!
