    Ah that is what I thought

    I don't think it was used for opening with though. But, i will ask around the shop near my house. The barber who gave me the razors still straight razors himeself every morning.

    The barber's notch could have been
    simply a selling point. Nothing more.
    But they do look kinda cool.

    I don't know. I believe I like the smooth sleek look of a roundedge razor.
