I asked the seller a couple of questions several days ago (size, crack), still haven't heard a word. Doesn't smell right...

I asked him questions about the crack 9/5, still awaiting an answer. Smells fishy!

    You mean smells fowl?
No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Fishy is the word they used a lot in the UK when I lived there to describe things suspicious. I have never heard the word fowl being used in the same sense. I only know a fowl as a domesticated bird, or did you mean foul?

It is a Dubl Duck, hence it smells fowl...

Fowl is pronounced the same as the word "foul" which means "bad". Ducks are considered fowl-birds, so the word-play is expected.

I am afraid I was too worried I had used the word fishy in the wrong sense and confused by the inconsistencies of spelling that I overlooked the pun. Thanks for the explanation, guys.
