1st things 1st, invest in a good styptic, man!
Next, If you want to continue shaving her legs without cuts nick or issues, leave the soap out altogether and just use olive oil.
Slather both legs lightly ( but generously, if that makes sense) and work away at a reasonable pace, rinsing the razor often.
Not only will she get a good close shave but her legs will be wonderfully moisturized and you will be her hero!

Sometimes I shave my wife legs. The last time was a couple of weeks ago, it was nice for me and for her.
I highly recommend it for at least try it once for those who haven't already do so.

Thanked: 66We went to dallas this last weekend and I picked up some "art of shaving" sandalwood soap with the wooden bowl, I know it was a bit pricey but my wife was able to pick them up and smell them, she liked the smell of it.
I hope to give it a shot soon. Her leg is still red and infected from my last try. Arrgghh..
Question. Someone above said to pick up a "good" styptic pencil, I have the one from Wallmart is it not "good"???

Thanked: 0Off topic, but I have shaved my head on and off for years, and had always used the best Gillette razor that was out, so Sensor Excel to Fusion Pro Glide. I had heard of Headblade before but didn't put much stock in it, thought it was a gimmick, etc. Finally caved in to it at the end of may. The difference was astounding to me, much like people claim going from a ProGlide to a straight razor is (I just got my straight razor, so it's about the same for me as of yet). But I can not even begin to describe how much better the Headblade is. I think that shaving your head with a straight razor may be more difficult than it's worth. And at $15 for the HeadBlade Sport I believe you at least owe it to yourself to try it.
Back on topic, as I just mentioned I have just started shaving with a straight razor and when I get more comfortable with it my wife wants me to try doing her legs. I'm glad I found this thread, some decent info.
