As far as "worth a thousand bucks in twenty years"........ the way it is going in twenty years that will probably get you a gallon of milk.
You're just saying that because your stuff is already worth a thousand bucks And as long as there are still people like us around, you shouldn't have any trouble trading a couple of decent straights for a whole cow

I have that solved. I have a deal with my next door neighbor. He gets all my stuff and I retrieve it in the middle of the night and stash it in the last place my wife would ever look, where the cleaning supplies are kept.

Actually no excuses are needed. We have our own discretionary fund and we can't complain to each other how we spend it.

My excuse is "I want it".

Often, I also put on a wifebeater and do a dance:

After two wifes, and rejection from several wonderful women I have come to the conclusion that I couldn't get a date in a women's prision with a fist full of pardons. Therefore this is a problem that I can only hope to face in the future. In the mean time maybe I should buy everything now to avoid having to smuggle new razors in later.

Good idea! Except the custom guys on here haven't built everything yet....They are always coming up with the next best thing. Buy it all now, and you're still gonna need to buy it all again later.
