Thanked: 68I'm in this year for the first time too... Movember New Zealand - Home
Since I normally have a goatee/van dyke it was also my first time experiencing the challenge of lips and chin with a straight. Not as bad as I had read but probably easier already being comfortable with handling my razors. That hair and skin on the chin is quite different to shave.
As for SWMBO - she wasn't impressed that I was claen shaven and is waiting for it to grow backDon't do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics!

This is my first time participating, but its really started a lot of good conversations. I'm trying to get as many involved as I can, even at this late date. Its such a great thing for guys and focusing on our health. Women have done such great things with breast cancer awareness, and the pink ribbon (and pink in general) is such a successful way to bring attention to it. What a unique way this is for us to bring awareness to those health issues we face as men.
Anyway, here is my site: Vance Hendley's Movember site
Not much on the updates yet, but I am working on that.

Thanked: 0Saw this while looking for some "Mo" wax. Thought some of you might find it interesting. Clubman - Clubman Moustache Grooming Kit
I just picked it up. It is a cool little kit but nothing too fancy.

Thanked: 6I've had at minimum a mustache if not a beard (currently a goatee) since 1974 - does that count? Does that date me? ;-)

I started a team at work. Movember Canada - Home I'll be updating pictures every week.
Out of the men who said "no" to growing a mo, I noticed 2 types:
1 - The guy who flat out says "no", he doesn't want to
2 - The guy who says "no" because his wife doesn't want him to (grow b@lls dude, it's your face, you decide). Or this guy could be cowardly puting the blame on his wife instead of confessing he doesn't want to do it. That would be just plain wrong.
You can do a reverse mo. Keep your moustache all month long, but shave it off at the end of the month. It's a similar effort/sacrifice for the 'stached community.
