Thanked: 220I can't say I have that problem, although I have gotten it in my nose before! Try pulling your ear back and using the side of the brush to lather in that area.

this is what the tang of your razor is really for... it makes a perfect scoop for lather.

Thanked: 58Groovyd, you are not alone. I seem to be the only one out there, apart from you, that manages to get soap in my ear every other shave. As long as I can keep my wife out of the bathroom I think the remedy is to start out with q-tips in your ears. As if she didn't have enough to tease me about already, what with the pipe tobacco potpurri, classical music, pre-shave oil, soap, brush, razor, safety, compact mirror(for shaving the back of my head w/ the safety), witch hazel, after shave, and moisturizing lotion already spread out on the counter.

Oh, you guys are not alone.
I cover half my ears, fill my nostrils and splash lather around in a fine fashion.
No need to be all that meticulous about applying it, it will be rinsed off in minutes
Now, when it is time to shave it off, that's a whole different matter!Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I have a friend that lathers up his ears on purpose. Says it makes the sound of shaving interesting to him. Whatever works, I guess!!
