Thanked: 48Shavers Ear
Anyone else here have the problem of getting shave cream in your ears while lathering up or during the shave? I am careful when i lather but it always overflows into my ears and i imagine to someday be diagnosed with shavers ear, some compacted dry cream that i can no longer hear through. i use q-tips after the shave to clean out but sure some must push its way in (and perhaps the q tip even makes it worse). how do you guys avoid this? anyone put cotton balls or tp in their ears before the lather? every brush i have is simply too wide to avoid it and i have lots of various size brushes. bulb vs fan is one better to control this?

Thanked: 1195Shaver's Ear? That's a new one, can't say I've heard of that one before!
I might get the odd dab of lather on the tip of my ear lobe, but never in my ear itself. What size of brush do you prefer?

Thanked: 48got one in pretty much every shape and size. doesn't seem to make much of a difference. when they are loaded with cream they are all too big to fit up in the temple area without hitting everything... maybe when i shave my head in the shower i should shave lower down the temple to prevent having to shave that area out of the shower but i prefer the straight.

When I saw the title Shavers Ear, I thought this was going to be about cutting your ear with a spike point.

Yea, when I saw the title I thought it was a discourse on developing the ability to distinguish different razors by the way they sound as the work on your face.
No, I've never gotten soap in my ear. My mouth yes and most don't taste all that good.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
