Has anyone here ever been to Sheffield or Solengin?
So I was wondering if anyone here ever been to Sheffield or Solengin? For some reason I keep thinking those cities are straight razor wonderlands.. I know they are not.. but I know they do have manufacturing plants for razors and knives there.. If anyone has ever been, do the factories give tours? I would love to go to Solengin so I could go to places like Dovo and Revisor and have a ball buying TONS of razors!! Pictures please if anyone has been!!!!

I live about 50 minutes from Sheffield, we go shopping there every once in a while. Most of the steel industry shutdown long ago and I'm not aware of any factory running today that makes razors. You can find some good razors for a reasonable price in the junk shops but not as many as you might think. I'm sure the museum would be a great place to have a wander round but I never have.

Never been there but I saw something that said the biggest employer in Sheffield is the Govt. Apparently, times are hard there.
