Shipping from Europe to the US is generally dependent from the weight of the item and the box or envelope.
If I would ship this razor from Germany I think you wouldn't pay more than 4,- to 6,-EURO...
That is a bit overprized , it seems that the seller is alittle bit silly
Regards from Germany

I got a similarly outrageous shipping cost from a seller in France when I made an inquiry during an auction. Delivery time was horrible too.
Don't know if there's something peculiar with the French post that makes them so expensive, but I've had more than a couple razors shipped from Germany for $6-$8 and they usually arrive in seven days or less.

There are many ways to ship and it depends on the country and weight and size. Foir example if you ship to the UK you can send a razor from here to there for about 8 bucks airmail but you can't insure it for more than about $30.00. If you buy a razor for say $100 and its lost your out the money. If you want full insurance you have to send it EMS and thats about $26.00. Some european mail services are dreadful and theft is rampant including England and Italy. Reversing the proceedure the package has to move through those mail services before it comes here so there is an element of risk.

I senc razors from Europe to the states all the time. Usually for one razor I pay about 2,70 euro's so somewhere around $3,50 The french seem to get a kick out of that. They've tried the same with me to the Netherlands a couple of times and usually I just tell them..: Dude..I'm in the EU, send it by priority in an envelope and it'll cost ya 3 euro's and'll be here within 3 days.
Most of the time that shuts em up.

Joe,
If that $100 Manyware razor gets lost or damaged who looses? Most of my International stuff comes the same way, cheap but uninsured.
A typical example is us sending to overseas. Global priority Uninsured only, $5.00.if you want insurance you have to jump up to Airmail parcel post or Global Express, both at $15 or more for the same weight.
