The best part of the turkey is the skin.

I'll add my wishes for a happy thanksgiving as well. My Lord has given me much this year to be thankful for.

As for the meal, anyone ever deep fry their turkey? I love it that way and this is the first time I will be frying it. Usually my father-in-law does it.

I give thanks for the many friends I've made on here, as well as the opportunity to do something part-time that I love. Happy Thanksgiving to both my friends and those of you I can't stand.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

And I like the dark meat, though you're right about the skin being the best part.

My brother and I wanted to try the deep-fried turkey, but my SO and the rest of the family put the kybosh on it.

I'm thankful for health and safety, employment, family, a certain girl...and the fact that there are so many knowledgeable and sharing people here. May you all have a marvelous Thanksgiving.

Yes deep fried is the best. I've loved it that way sence my friends down here in New Orleans started doing it many years ago. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I had it last year, and I think it will be there this year as well. Two 20+ lbs turkey and the deep fried was completely gone by the time anyone tried the regular turkey.
