    Default Anything in Toronto?

I read about all the North American Soaps and creams, all "foreign" to someone in Europe... so near here on the forum... but so far from my chin...

So... I will be in Toronto Next week and was wondering if there was a good shop to visit and what shaving cream can be recommended ?

    Thanks
    Chris

There is a Trufitt and Hill shop in the PATH network around the intersection of King and Bay streets. The PATH network is an underground set of tunnels that you can get around downtown in. That's about it in Toronto.....we don't have much in shaving stuff.

If you just want a good cream, hit Crabtree & Evelyn. There is one at Sherway (427/QEW) and probably all other major malls. Nomad FTW. Their soaps.. Not so much.

It's been a few years since I've visited T.O. but there's bound to be a L'Occitane or two there as well.

There's not much in terms of shave shops, however, Italian Barber Online Shaving Supplies is based out of Toronto and has almost everything I need, including rare European soaps and creams, so it doesn't really matter. The owner of that site also owns RazoRock creams and soaps which you can find in some stores around the city.

There is a loccitane located on bloor near the museum as well as in side the bay in the eatons centre. Which conveniently is right by the Crabtree and Evelyn store.

If you're in downtown you can always check out TBBS TBBS | Toronto Beauty & Barber Supply

I've been to two TBBS stores, one in Toronto and one in Richmond Hill, and all they have is scissors, hair dyes, and genetic shampoos and conditioners. The store seems aimed towards hairdressing students. There were no razor supplies, except one cheep shavette I saw.

They should have a decent selection of aftershaves, also barbicide. I personally don't shop there but one long-time member felt like a kid in a candy store.
