    Default Other uses for razors!

I like to know what other uses people have for razors other than shaving with them.
    Please, no weapons!

I got an old frameback that somehow lost it back, the back was like a piece of brass tubing thing.
Now it does service as an excellent cutter for leather work.

Also put a little fixed wood handle on a broken CVH to make a little knife for a friend,
she use it to cut threads and textiles when sewing, she loves it!

My "Celebrated Zeepk" razor does double duty as a letter opener and zip tie cutter.

I didn't say it opens letters smoothly, there's a lot of tugging and pulling.

I'll look at it some day, too much else to "fix" right now, and she is the best leather cutter I've had... Sharp as a , well, razor!

I suppose if you had a real junker you could use it for stripping old caulking off your bathtub or sink. But I've yet to have a razor I'd be willing to sacrifice to the toolbox....

I know in the past that many of the old "Wedges" were made into Patch Knives for black powder shooters to cut their patches out of a piece of Pillow Ticking..

Cell rot, cracks, chips, an oops on the buffer, etc. I can see many reasons to re purpose them!
