The outlaw doing the barbering was using poor technique, a 90 degree angle, got distracted and gave the leader an nice long gash.

I think it is worth seeing on the big screen, if not for anything else but the scenery.
That will be the scene razorthin wasn't going to spoil for us then.:-)
I was quite looking forward to this movie, mainly for jonny depp (not like that),though I think he may be becoming a charicature, isn't hellena Bonham carter a crazy lady (again) in it?

I brought my 10 y/o son with 2 friends and 2 cousins. They absolutely loved it. I think the movie was a very good summer movie. Entertaining and fun. I rarely go to the theatre, anymore, due to the high prices involved. Movies come out on disc very quickly and large flat screen tv's are very cheap. But, it is fun to go, especially on rainy days, like yesterday...

I saw this a couple of days ago.
If you are expecting a literal remake of the original series, you will be disappointed.
This appears to be a light satire on the original series. The comedy is not in-your-face and the actors are not over-the-top -- they delilver the lines as if it were a serious drama.
Many references to the original series are made, but well disguised into the dialog.

And they come close, but not quite close enough, to explaining Tonto's name
