Sundays are difficult for me, but barring anything coming up I'm in. It would be great to meet others in the area.

    I'll be waiting for details.

We will be meeting on January 12, 2014, a week from Sunday, from 12 – 5.

I have sent a PM with meeting information to all that have responded. If you are planning on attending and did not get a PM, please shoot me a PM so we can plan for space, rain is forecast for that weekend so we will be inside.

Looking forward to meeting, bring your collections, projects and problems.

    Marty

Well I just have to say thanks to Marty (Euclid440) and his family for a meetup that went WAY beyond expectations. From the excellent well crafted displays, to the delicious food and the custom giveaways. This was such a fun event and a blast to meet others from the forum. Many had such nice collections of razors and hones it was definitely like a kid in a candy store.
Thanks again and can't wait till the next meetup!

+1 that was off the hook. It exceeded expectations on every level. It was fun to meet all the new people. All I can say is man you guys at a whole different level. My lonely 8 straights is just anemic.

Marty thank you to you and your wife for setting the bar for hosts. Just above mad beyond the call of duty.

I want to THANK Marty and his family for a first class meet. They went over the top with hospitality and we all had a great time. I think this is going to turn out to be a big annual meet in no time. It was great to meet the guys that made it and I look forward to meeting you all again someday. This was a lot of fun :<0)

I couldn't agree more! What a lovely home Marty and Mrs. Marty have...and they were so courteous and gracious to treat all of as if we were family. Unfortunately I had to leave a tad too early because of another obligation, but it was really great to see and meet everyone. Special mention for Voidmonster's (aka Zak) razor collection. It really made me drool to see some of those blades. Unbelievable! I am envious! Marty's 'French Connection' razor display cases were beautiful. 10 Pups brought a Flock of Ducks'...

It was just such a great afternoon, and representative, I believe, to the quality of folks that are members of SRP. I also had a chance to talk a bit at length to Mrs. Marty. She seemed as excited as the rest of us to be there...what a truly wonderful person she is.

Thanks to all that were there...especially to Marty and his wife.

Anybody that brings and hands out a nice razor box is already up a notch :<0) For me it's more about the social aspects and learning from each other. Sharing knowledge and perspectives is the real value of these meets. Everyone there contributed to that for me.

+1...I just opened the 'present' that Royal Cake handed out to everyone that was there. A very classy, hand made wooden razor box made to hold a pair of razors. Top notch .... THANK YOU!
