    Default Brush Pics...

Here are a couple pics of the Brush I turned with TONS of Gerrit's help... He stopped by to drop it off and so I put the knot in temporarily just to get a feel and snap a couple pics. My hands wear 2XL gloves and so having that ball on the end just really, truly improved the ergonomics and comfort tremendously! I was a bit skeptical about the length and the ball at first but I'm bought, sold and paid for now... Great design in every way!

    Thanks Gerrit! You 'Da MAN!!!

    Shawn

Ooops... Details: The knot is a Silvertip 20mm from The Golden Nib and the wood is Ebony:

And for those of you who did not come to the meet; yes, we did spend the first part of the second day with some of my atlatl. I will always take the time from one hobby to discuss another hobby. I have plenty to discuss!
I may still need another recovery day, purely becaise the cottonwood might be stronger than me.

MAN OH MAN! How I wish I could have made the meet!

The comradeship is so wonderful Let alone the knowledge that is shared

As has already been posted the Hands On Learning couldn't be bought for Love Nor Money! You learn so much in such a short time it is Mind Boggling!

I'm very envious of those that could attend! I really wish that it was 'ME' instead of the door prize I'd sent that was in attendance!

Gerrit I thank you and your lovely bride Wanda for opening your home and taking the time to make the Meet happen!

I keep hoping that I'll be able to make it so I'll try again next year! I'd love to not only be able to attend but see your family, it's been a few years

It would be great to see you, Roy! You will not believe how much Cortland has changed since you last saw her.
I am sure that Shawn appreciates the wine too!

I'm so very pleased that you (and your lovely bride) liked it I'm a 'beer guy' and didn't have a clue as to what to try to find to help out at the meet but a woman that I've had the privilege of calling a friend for 35 years is a 'Wine Girl' hehehe I'd asked her for help.

If you ever venture East and are in Walla Walla please let me know as you would be welcome here at the Boars Nest anytime
