We wish you could make it also. I noted it is a 5-1/2 hour drive 1 way for you, that makes for a long round trip. There will be many pictures and video for you to view after the meet up.

I noticed this is your first post. Let me be the first to welcome you to SRP. Feel free to let us know if there is ever anything we can help you with.

    Hi eborraga,

Wish you could make it but there should be lots of pictures coming out to see later on. Oh, and welcome to SRP. Lots of good people, help, and information here.

5 1/2 hours is a breeze. But unfortunately i'm racing in Bloomington Indiana Fridy night and Haubstadt Indiana Saturday night. If it wasn't for that, i'd try and make the trek. I look forward to seeing all the pictures.

    Good news Guys,

I just checked the weather forecast for the meet up and the weather is looking like we will have a great event. You can check it anytime by using this link

    Default Soap sampling

    Hi All,

Don't forget that there will be a table set up for folks to test lather and smell shaving soaps. Kind of a try it to see if you like it before you go buy it. Several folks are bringing their own soaps in from home to let people try and play with and Rod from Stirling Soaps has sent several more samples of his soaps for us to play with in addition to the samples he sent earlier to give out to everyone there. That makes 54 samples in all. It is the newest formula and is easier to lather. I could smell the Electric Sheep before I even opened the box. He also sent samples of Scots Pine Sheep, Jasmine Sambac, Black Cumin and Orange, and Rose for us to try and play with.

If you have soaps you don't mind people playing with bring them along. Also, bring some of your water with you and use that to test the soaps with. One thing I have learned about soaps is that some soaps do better in soft water while others do better in hard water. We will have a few brushes out there but if you want to see if a soap works well for you bring your brush too.

See you all in 4 more days!

Colman, Fourshee the GM for Klingspor just sent me a picture of a brush Tucker Garrison of Brevard NC. did for him to show us what he can do. We did ask that he bring someone that had a good handle on turning and thought outside of the box. What can I say we are not disappointed by Tuckers work what so ever!

The offer for delivery of your order to the event at 10% off is getting short now with only 2 days left. I just found out they have micro mesh up to 28,000 grit in belt form as well. I am getting some for my 1”x 42” belt sander. I will now be able to see my eye lashes in my blades now.
