Mike, thanks for hosting. It was great to meet the crew. Sorry I wasn't able to stay. Next time I will do a better check on the weather before heading out on a bike.

I just pulled in from Bolton, what a day, had a few breaks to check in on my phone, but the old Father-in-law is happy, and the wife is pleased that we went up for the day.
Sounds like you guys had a blast, great pics!

Thanked: 4206That's pretty cool. Would make mass production copying pretty easy.
Thanks."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

A final word. Shaved today for the first time since meeting everyone on Saturday last. I have been sick with the "cold" that has been going around. That is why I was jonesing on the hand sanitizer at the meet-up. Anyhow, I decided to take the "bent" razor that Andrew put an edge on out for a spin. Six days growth, an untested razor, with a fresh edge, and a person with only 20 shaves experience.
I have to say that pushing through the hair was about as tough as the first shave I tried. "Pushing is perhaps the wrong word, but you get the idea. It was not easy going, but I managed a complete face shave, with only a small nick on my chin. I was quite pleased, and so a big "thank you" to Andrew for providing me with a serviceable razor that I thought was destined for showpiece status. I am still somewhat leery of the edge, as I noticed a peculiar issue. When shaving with the etched side of the blade facing away from the skin, the blade was somewhat rough in it's feel. When the etched side of the blade was facinf the skin, the passes were very smooth. Could this be a function of the "issues" that were remarked upon last weekend? Still going to give it another go this weekend to test the notion out. But it was curious nonetheless.
