At the age of 17 Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) arrived from Bonn to take private lessons from Mozart.

Beethoven played variations on Mozart’s theme, and the Meister applauded him.

We were all students at one point.

I will call you whatever you want if you can help teach me the ways of putting a nice edge on my tamahagane Daishi Kami ground western style straight. I am afraid to put it to the stones at the minute.

There is no doubt Nelson is THE Mozart. A true Meister!

Nelson did two Iwasaki Tamahagane razors for me. So sharp it cut my Kanoyama strop first time I placed the razor on.
Here is pic of glued strop. Lousy job I know

It's on my calendar and I'll be breaking out the HotTop coffee roaster for the group.

Sam - I've got a nice dry process Ethiopian picked out for you to take home to the Marzocco GS/3!

    Thank you Geoff

For those who don't know GC7 he is a meister coffee roaster. Always cooks up a fresh batch of exclusive coffee beans for the meet up.
    Thank you Geoff

Looking forward to Sunday and will be roasting coffee for the group in the middle of the week so it is aged just right.

No another note- Can someone bring enough brass rod and washers to pin one razor? I will gladly pay for the materials. I found a nice little old bargain W & B in an antique store with rosewood scales that I'd like to fix up as an experiment. It's 1/2- 5/8 in nice shape but the wood needs TLC. It hones up really nicely and shaves well. Thanks in advance.
