No another note- Can someone bring enough brass rod and washers to pin one razor? I will gladly pay for the materials. I found a nice little old bargain W & B in an antique store with rosewood scales that I'd like to fix up as an experiment. It's 1/2- 5/8 in nice shape but the wood needs TLC. It hones up really nicely and shaves well. Thanks in advance.

Awesome meet, albeit the small turnout. I got the opportunity to hone some very cool razors ranging from a late 1700s stub tail to a few Fillys. Thank you Sam, Bill and Frank for putting it together and to Stirling, Mama Bears and all the shaving companies who sent goodies.

Special thanks to Sam, Frank and the vendors who supplied the samples, to Geoff for roasting some great coffee and to Nelson for being the head of the classroom and providing valuable insight as always. It was a great meet and looking forward to next time already!

Thank YOU Nelson. There will always be fresh roasted coffee for you to take home when I show up at these meetings. Your patient instruction and explaining your techniques is priceless as is your candor on what NOT to do!

This is a great group and I recommend local's take advantage of the friendship and expertise one gets from being face to face. The learning curve will be far shorter though the wallet may get lighter of cash and heavier from rocks
