Here are some pics of some of the other booths. It's only a fraction of the total tables.

Last but not least I found a dealer with a huge inventory of straight razors. If you are looking for a grail razor, this guy might be a good person to contact.

He had a few more boxes full of displays as well. The mans name is John Brown and he is based out of Arizona. Shoot me a pm and I will give you his phone number.

Once again, lots of fun and a lot of very cool people.

Was there any interest in your barber hones? I bet they would be good for touching up a pocket knife.

Sounds like you did very well and had a great time on top of it all!!

Did they do any Cutting Competitions, Demos or Classes or was it all Booth/Display?

I had a few people interested in the barber hones, but no takers. Mostly people talking about how their dad or granddad had one back in the day.

I guess they used to have a cutting competition, but some guy won like 11 years running so it kind of fizzled out. There was a blacksmithing demo, a sharpening demo and a few others as well. Didn't get to see them as you can't cover your booth during the show.

I'm wishing I could of gotten a few pics of Mikes razors he brought. Talk about top shelf items. I saw one of the prices and was... well a little in awe

It was good to meet you Matt. I'm going to talk to the show promoter to see if we can put a lecture or seminar about razors into their list of demonstrations. We have a year to plan....

I touched base with Elaine(?) at the end the show and expressed interest in doing a honing demo. I think we can make it work.

    Hi Matt,

If you've got some space next year, I might be able to make it down. Oregon is a bit of a hike from Alberta, but my wifes been wanting to go there, so this would be a great.
    Jon
