Default 2015 Mini Minnesota Pale Imitation of a Frozen Toe Meet-Up

With a grudging acknowledgement that Mike Blue left the state a couple years ago, I have to accept the likelihood of him hosting any more frozen toe meet-ups to be rather limited.

Also, since I noticed in a recent PM exchange with Mainaman that his location has changed to Des Moines, I figure he needs to be welcomed to the area with a meet-up. That way we can pick his brain about Japanese hones!

I am proposing a mini meet-up for some time in January. This will be a small gathering at my house in Rochester, MN. Both Stefan and Randy have given tentative approval to this plan. No date has been set but I am leaning toward the end of January to give me time to re-arrange some of the rubble in the house.

Let's say for now it will be Saturday Jan 24 with a snow day of Saturday Jan 31. This likely will be a small gathering. Randy and I figure it will only be maybe six people. If there is greater interest I'll explore another venue, unless Randy talks me out of it!

So, please post here if you are interested in attending.

I may be able to attend. I am on the Canadian border but it may work out.

I'm not trying to discourage you but this is going to be a one day gathering and it might not be worth the number of miles for your trip.

I'd be happy to host another bigger two day one some time this summer if there is enough interest.

I am sorry to be missed in this way, but life changes and carried me to other places. Keep the tradition going as you can with that vibrant Minnesota group you have. I still know less about razors than I want to and you guys taught me a lot.

Traditions reflect the people that start them.
