To the best of my knowledge, while there was talk of a spring meet up, it never came together.

BTW, I should have a date nailed down in the next week or so and start spreading the word.

The Spring Meet in Yakima was not held. There was talk about a Meet in/around Boise but I never saw final details come of that one. ?? Spring was just a busy, chaotic time evidently.

I'm just catching up with y'all. I definitely want to play again this year. I thought the "group" would come through like other posts with notifications. Fado's sounds like a winner for space, eats and brews. It will be good to see last year's crew along with the "new wave" of folks, that will double our numbers! I wonder if PRC might be ready to come visit us by then? The owner is out with testicular cancer, (see website), but they may be up for showing off their new line of Artisan razors along with the current line up. Are there any custom razor artists closer than the Portland crew?
    Thanks Matt!

PRC was interested in attending, not sure how the medical aspect is going to figure into that though. I don't know of anyone closer currently making razors. Joe Edson is down in Corvallis Oregon, and I know Mike Blue just moved onto the Seattle area but I don't believe he is set up to do any smithing.

Default 2015 Venue and Date set

    2015 Seattle Shave Convention

Friends and fellow wet shavers; it’s time for a get together of the Greater Pacific Northwest wet shave enthusiasts!

The 2nd Annual Seattle Shave Convention is happening Sept 19th at Fados Irish Pub. We are trying to get together fellow wet shavers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, and Western Canada. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend. Last years event was a lot of fun and think we can step it up a notch this year.

Join us Saturday, Sept 19th, at 11AM at FADOs Irish Pub. Fados’ features a full menu, full bar, and a great beer selection.

I have scraped together a website for a central point to reference updates and FAQs. 2015 Seattle Shave Convention - Seattle Shave Convention

Join your friends for a fun filled, educational afternoon of all things related to razors and shaving, finally meet all of the people you have been chatting with online, and meet completely new shaving enthusiasts.

Some of the topics covered will be honing, stropping, maintenance of your equipment, restoration tips and tricks, loading a shaving brush, lathering a soap… you name it we will probably have someone there who can help.

Bring your razors, your brushes, your loom or whatever it is. If it's shave related we want to see it. Show it off or get a second opinion. Make us jealous.

Bringing friends who are interested in encouraged. You do not need to be part of a forum to attend. This is about bringing the community together, not creating differences. Selling and trading is allowed and encouraged.

Keep up to date with the latest and greatest news of who is coming to the meet, what goodies you will get to see and what is being raffled off. Sign up for our newsletter at 2015 Seattle Shave Convention - Seattle Shave Convention

I'm hoping so Glen, I put the announcement up on the other forums today. Shawn has already been putting the website up on some of the FB groups to. Has the potential to be a really good meet. I had to push the date back one week, but with the nice weather I don't think weather will be a huge issues with traveling.
