Are there ever any large National Meetups?
I'm just wondering if there are ever any "National" or "Big Shave" type meetups?
Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to go on a vacation!

I have been organizing a Seattle meet. This year is only the second one, but having fun doing it.
Question: What would you expect a "national / big" shaving meet to entail?
I personally envision a two day event having many vendors (both pro and hobbie types), a couple well known guests in the industry speaking or giving demos, seminars, and maybe a contest or two.
Just curious what other people would be thinking.

I attended the Kansas City meetup last October. Although the majority of the people there seemed to be from Missouri & Kansas there were people attending from the Great Lakes area, the Rocky Mountains, and the East Coast. In this regard I considered it a national event. There were opportunities to practice stropping and honing plus free samples and at least one vendor present.
Something I would not like to see is Youtube personalities.

There were one or two or more at Asheville, NC. And I think Lynn has had one or more bigger meets at his place. You should be able to find the threads if you do a little searching around on the forum.

Thanked: 2209Putting on a razor meet in Las Vegas would take lot of work and money for both the building and insurance. People would be deterred by the cost of transportation and lodging. The number of vendors who will send samples is large but very few will attend or pay for booth space. The crowd size wiil be to small to justify the expense.
Just my 2 cents ☺Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
