I will be bringing my stereomicroscope, camera, and TV set-up and...

--my Mike Blue pattern welded steel billets

    --some 1/4x1x48 1095 bar stock

--a random but sufficient assortment of hones (again, if anyone else has a special request please let me know) So far I have been asked to bring a Chosera 600, some coticules, some thuringians, and a Zulu grey. I intend to bring a full set of Naniwa SuperStones and some diamond plates. Anything else I bring will be up to my whim, Randy's shocks, and your requests.

    --random lubrication

    --extreme appreciation for coffee

I just checked the ten day forecast for Burkburnett. Wow, high 60s and sunny all week! Well OK, partly cloudy and 60s on Sunday. It could hardly be better.

It is shaping up ! Today 32T brought his Ford F150 over to my home and we loaded up 2 long tables, 4 chairs, grinder & wheels, propane forge, 172 lb anvil & stand, 800 grit 2x72 belts, extension cords (2), and a few other things.

The weather forecast for Wed here in St. Paul is a high of 10F ! and Burkburnett is 60's and sunny!
It will be a nice time to visit Texas.

Yes the weather is going to be pretty good, Ok I have 5- 25' extension cords , 2 tables and 3-4 chairs. Not sure how many, whatever is in the Rv, cooler for drinks, bottle of lubrication, and a few razors, and upon Charlie's advise I get to put on my Carhartts and old roughneck boots!!!! Maybe get out the hard hat too! Looking forward to being in the company of such craftsmen. Tc

In the winter of 83/84 there was a 3 week stretch when the temperature hit at least -40 (F or C is the same at that point) every day. The coldest I recall seeing in that period was -48F. It was so cold that my coat shattered!
