Thanked: 351Sounds like a great plan, NK is a bit far from where I live, but you drive past my house as you enter Winnipeg from the west. I'm north of Portage Ave, between the 4th and 5th traffic light after going under the perimiter hwy overpass, on the first Ave parallel to Portage.

Thanked: 351Thanks Willis.
So far there's Bekk and Freddi besides myself.
As for that weather thing..... It looks like the unusually warm weather is about to come to an abrupt end. Weather statement has been released on Enviroment Canada and we'll be staring in the face of blowing snow and 90km/h winds by Wednesday... Temperatures to drop well below freezing.
But hey, it's been a great ride for us Winnipeggers, we're used to snow on Halloween or earlier.
Regards

I used to like Mother Nature...... I guess she is letting Old Man Winter take for a bit.
Such a yucky forecast! We usually have snow and sub freezing temps for Halloween too.
I haven't minded the milder weather we've had thus far.
If and when I do happen to venturing to Winterpeg....LOL
I will let you know and maybe meet up for a coffee or even do something related to straight razors.
Usually I am there with my wife visiting her mom and it's on a weekend. Again all depends on the roads. Is it over there or over yonder?

Thanked: 351One other thing,
If anyone wants to see something specific that I have, hones, strops, razors, DE razors, Feather strai.... uhh... maybe just ask, I probably have the item and it's easier to ask, than for me to list everything... That would take me forever...<sigh>.
Willis, I was trying to be *nice*, normally I refer to our fine little town as WinterPig.
Please do holler if you roll into town!
Perhaps in the spring, we'll have enough bodies to entice them southern (Oh alright.... Minnesota then...} honemeisters to pay us visit.
In the meantime, anyone else?!?!?

Thanked: 351Last call for interest in a mini meet in Winnipeg.
I'll PM everyone who's interested tomorrow night and we'll go from there. I'll post the time and place here as soon as we have it figured out.
