Thanked: 237Had some time today to play with the blade i made. I don't know how you pros go to mirror polish. I can't get all the 600 greaseless marks out no matter how hard I try. It still looks decent for a 1st attempt, so I'm not going to struggle any more with that. I might just blue the whole thing anyway. Scales soon. I got some g10 liners for the ironwood because there are so many voids I'm afraid they will snap when thinned down.

Thanked: 3795Hand sanding with 600 grit, and higher if needed, will help you eliminate the greaseless scratches. Then you can go back to the buffer.
