    Gentlemen,

The razor meet was pure delight. Dave had everything organized. There was plenty of grub. And some hootch, too. Of course, I was a good boy, since I was driving, and had coffee.

Ron and his microscope are a must at any razor meet. Ron is also a great conversationalist, a walking encyclopedia of everything known to man. And he is funny.

Randy, now Randy is the celestial honemeister, a generous gentleman who has blessed me with a wealth of knowledge on honing. Randy is also one of the most patient straight razor and honing masters I have come across.

The rest of gang offered plenty of conversation and humor. I had never met Bob and Tim. Gentlemen, you are a class act.

My young friend Sam Emery, whom I've had the pleasure of mentoring, came over to the house today ecstatic that he had been able to attend the event. He picked up a razor from Bob, and I honed it for him today. He says he will shave with it tomorrow, and he says he can't wait for tomorrow to come.

TC, my brother, I was hoping you would get on that hog and make the event. I'm sorry I missed you. Perhaps next time.

And then there is Dave, ROLODAVE, our host, who with his wife are two of the most gracious people I have ever met. Dave, my friend, you done good. Thank you for hosting the event. Thank you for being such a good friend. A gentleman, indeed.

My thanks to all of you. It was fun to plan, organize and execute. Bob and John brought a lot of food to share and libations to keep us all hydrated. Randy and Ron have such a wealth of honing and hone knowledge. Tim is such a cool guy to be around.

I want to thank Tim for bringing Richard. I really appreciate you making the extra effort.

Many thanks to my wife for all the help.
