    I started putting some stuff together for a free raffle at the meet. If you have stuff that you aren't using, consider contributing it to the free raffle. This can be anything from actual useful items to gag gifts. It will only take a few minutes late in the meet and you can keep honing while it is happening. It's a way to pass along stuff that you aren't using and bring home other stuff that you will not use. If there is something that you actually want that you don't win, you may be able to trade for it.

    Great idea Vic. Sounds a bit like what just happened at the big meet uou just went to. I got a couple ideas and will try to donate to the pile of give-aways.

    Yeah, it's a fun way to distribute things. The trading after the raffle is the fun part and gives you a chance to actually get things that you may use.

    I don't think I have much in the way of razor stuff to donate, but I can throw in a paring knife or two, or maybe even throw some 12,000 grit edges on them and call them fixed blade razors :}

    At the Wisconsin meet, after the raffle, I traded the two soaps that I won for a plastic HF caliper that Pete won. I still think I got a good deal.

    Good idea, Vic. I've definitely got some stuff to include in a raffle. Noting wrong with any of it, just not my thing.

    I got a note to Jeff on facebook. We still need to notify Dennis, WYRick, and Steve Rollins.
