Thread: Midsouth meet ups for 2018

Maybe we should see what kind of turn out we would get. I have a full two car garage so I'm not truey sure if that would be enough. I know alot of it depends on what is going to get done. As this would be about 10 months or so when in Oct would be good and what would people like to see or do.

I,m in, I think that's enough room to have a couple tables up for displays and honing. Dave (rolodave) has had 2 at his house, he would be a great source for what it entails. I wont be in my house in Oakland by then so my garage is out. new house will be in Mississippi. with our weather at that time of year you could easily have some outdoor activity going, ie. BBQ and drinks. so I will be the first to commit, and as you can see some of our Tn guys have responded, plus a long distance guy Tc

I'm trying to be able to make a ride out Tc's way this coming summer if I can make it happen--then I'm in!

That is if I can ever get my bike back together! It's been one thing after another.

That Razor Meet is in Burkburnett, Texas, about 10 miles north of Wichita Falls. I hve now posted a thread about it in the Get Togethers forum. You are more than welcome to attend.

A two car garage sounds more than adequate. Rolodave had a number of tables that he rented and most were filled with razor stuff! There is a thread about his razor meet with a lot of pics that should help answer that question. I think about 10 people attended his? you should ask him for the specifics. From the responses you have received so far You probably do not need my help to send out PM's inviting more guys but if you decide that you want to do so just let me know..

ok i hada nice long post and hit the wrong button. so down and dirty, is there any certain weekend or time better in oct. also if i do this would you all be interested in smoking a large item lol. also is there anything that anyone is interested in learning or showcasing. tell me what you all think.

Any weekend in Oct is good fro me as long as it is a 2 day meetup. I would expect that Utopian (Ron) would be coming with me.
Ron and me usually bring hones and a nice microscope and use those to help guys with their honing. It is difficult for me to bring a Bader grinder due to a lack of space in the car.

i would figure that if you made a trip this way Ron would be with you. Maybe even Seth. Always could use some MN whiskey. I'm pretty much game for anything. I would love to see a few jnats as i am getting interested with those.

You figure that right, but there'd be no room for Seth. The Caddie usually is pretty full.
I can bring some Jnats and Randy has some very nice ones now too so that should be covered.
Maybe TC could have a toy ready for me by then?
