I already had tongs and hammers on my list. I don't have 1/4 x 1 box jaws yet. If I don't get them made before I come, maybe I'll bring some stock and make them there.

I think Randy was bringing tongs he just bought. And Scott and Randy will presumably bring their mjolnir hammers. I will not bring mjolnir because I will already have luggage weight issues on my return trip.
Ron also had some nice hammers but some scoundrel ran off with them
Iirc randy also had various hammers.
Which reminds me: charlie, was that sledge hammer we used last year yours or Randy's?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 1936I will bring:
-tongs
-hammers (mjolnir & a few other "smaller" hammers...most hammers are puny compared to mjolnir!)
-several cold chisels (form making some drifts), these are "shop donations" along with another ball pein or two
-high speed Grizzly grinder for forging area, planning on bringing a stand for it too in case we don't place it where we usually do.
-odd and end steel stock
Charlie, is there a machine shop in Burkburnette that may have one of those large "hack saws" that you put a chunk of large stock on and walk away from and let it saw away? I have a huge chunk of w2 (1 3/8 x 6 x 11) that I need cut up into maybe 1/2" strips that I have never gotten cut up. I don't have any local, everyone wants to just take a blow torch to it and I have been holding off.
My weekend is Friday & Saturday and I plan on starting to load my suburban then. I will update what I am bringing then with loaded inventory. Anything else you guys can think of? I plan on having lunch with the wife on the 14th and then driving down to Burkburnette. Should put me in around 5-6pm.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. I have cut some fork lift tines and rail road track on my little band saw it is at its limit. If the w2 is annealed we could make a few slices across the 6 inch way. We can anneal in my oven, it will fit.
McMurray Machine in Wichita Falls is a job shop I have used numerous times. If you want to cut the 11 inch way.
