    I did not break out my camera until the last of the meet. I did not get a lot of pictures.

    The were also from TC!

    Two years ago when we started out to ride over Lo Lo Pass and then over to Sandpoint we stopped in at Carolyn's Cafe, I've been friend with Carolyn since '69 and in fact used to date your little sister.

    I'd told Carolyn that we'd be stopping in for breakfast and she had a table reserved with a place card that said something like;

    Welcome Roy and Tc.

    She bakes everything from scratch, the cinnamon rolls, biscuits, danishes, pies---EVERYTHING!

    Well everything except the breads----

    The last Thanksgiving that I worked she stopped by and was delivering over 20 pies to customers in Walla Walla and her little cafe is 35 miles away in Dayton. Her husband was giving out the pies to the customers in Dayton. I can't imagine making that many pies!!

    Anyway I'm glad that they arrived safe, sound and as fresh as could be managed. I'll let her know that they were enjoyed.

    I made it so far to OKC today and went from 68° to 30° and ice. What!!!
    Flight leaves at 6:00 am tomorrow.

    Most importantly, a big thank you to Charlie for being such a gracious host, and to everyone else for the help and encouragement to accomplish my goal.
    I'm very proud of what I did, but it is only a reflection of the talented masters that were there, and their ability to teach.
    The camaraderie, friendship and sense of an extended family under Charlie's roof was off the charts. So was the work being accomplished, the food and the laughs.

    Certainly a treasured memory for all.
