I just got word from Bill Ellis that he wont be able to attend due to vacation with the missus and it being her birthday and all, but he is willing to give 50 dollars off anything on his site to the winner of a raffle, straw drawing, or what have you!
I wish you all the best of luck, but don't hold your breath as I plan on being the winner!

I don't think I'll be able to though - sooner or later I'll make it - got bunch of friends in the area. Very nice gestures of Bill and Giovanni.

Hello, I am a new member but would love to join you all for this meeting if that is ok (not sure if this is for a regular group, or are newbies to the scene ok). I just received my first straight razor and accessories, and am very interested in learning more about technicques such as honing.

It's too bad that he won't be able to make it but that was very generous for him to make the donation. I was just looking through his website and there is definately some cool stuff that I have my eye on: http://www.billysblades.com/
Anyway, hopefully he will be able to make it out when someone hosts the next California Straight Razor Get-Together

You are all going to have a great time. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it do to some family plans on that day. Hopefully, I'll be at the next Southern California get-together.

Great news, Will from classicshaving.com is going to try to attend the event and might bring some of his friends. Whether he can make it or not, he has decided that he would like to donate some shaving stuff for the drawing! I am not sure about you guys, but I am starting to get excited!

On a side note the location is likely going to change to the following address (JMS should know where this is
