Josh
Thanks so much for all your help. It seemed that you were constantly trying to guide someone through various honing questions or some other issue. Not to mention the foot locker of tools and supplies that you brought. From the looks of it, your box of stuff outweighed you by 20 or 30 lbs.

Sounds like a great weekend. Wished I could have gotten away for that..........I also wished someone had told me you were doing door prizes, as always I would have been glad to have offered something.

Thanked: 44Tony I think there will be more opportunities. And this was awesome. I am home now and just aglow from the fun and fellowship. It is a shame we all live so far apart because this sort of thing could easily produce the fastest friends ever to be found. I have pictures that I will download for everyone.
For the people who had the patience to watch my honing process which is slow but thorough, I hope you picked up good information. For those who had questions or wanted to play with my stuff, as small as it was compared to Lynn or Don, you are most welcome. For those that got a chance to use my cream and brush to try out wonderful razors upstairs, anytime my friends.
To Bill and Don this was the most fun I have had in some time and the best fellowship a man could ask for. The cigars never stopped. The alchohol never ran out. The razors couldn't be beat and the chance to hold them and study them was invaluable.
To Lynn all I can say is wow. You are so much fun, super generous, friendly beyond belief, and an all around great guy to know. You make this place what it is. I hope you like the razors you got from me as I love the one I got from you.
To Tim Good Lord man you can make a razor. Your scopes helped me to know what I am doing right and wrong and will help. You expertise saved me big money and helped me to realize that I am not alone in my quest for perfection.
To Jim It was so cool to meet you. I speak to you constantly on the phone but to meet you in person is wonderful. I just wish I could pry you away from Will a bit more so I could get to talk. You guys were hilarious.
To Will it is great to know that there is such a cool and friendly face behind Classic Shaving. Thanks for the Feather AC DX. I have never used one before and they are rather cool so it will be a trip. And as Lynn said, I don't even have to polish it.
To the other vendors, I was drooling over everything that you sent. There wasn't anything that I didn't want and for them to be given to people who needed them like a good portion of the people there do, that is great. I know I tried some wheeling and dealing to get some of them and none of it worked so I think everyone was thrilled too.
I will be looking into a meetup here in florida since airfare here is cheap and the weather is WARM!!!! Sunday it got to 5 degrees with a -20 wind chill. I just didn't want it to end and if we keep having them then maybe it won't have too.

We are small but mighty. I've always been a little on the slight side, but all the hammering hot steel I've been doing is starting to bulk me up a bit.
I really enjoyed working with all you guys. Having three people firing questions off while I was honing and narrating took some getting used to, but I really wish we all had more opportunities for in-person instruction. It would probably shrink that honing learning curve from weeks to days or even hours.
