Thread: DFW Fall Get-Together

Well guys, I guess I am just going to have to claim a major-league "stupid" on this one! All of my comments on the 25th or not and now I remember why I should have been voting against the 25th from the start.

For most all of my life, and ALL of my adult life, the 4th Saturday in October has been reserved for a Board of Directors Meeting, then family gathering at my Family Cemetery in East Texas. So instead of joining all of you for some lunch, libations and good razor fellowship, I'll be "stuck" in the piney woods for the weekend. Not a terrible place to be at all. Friday night through Sunday night at the time-share on Lake Palestine with all-day Saturday at the Cemetery.

I hope to be able to finish up a brush this weekend that I would like to provide for the door-prize drawings. Jockeys, please PM me your address and I'll send it priority mail, hopefully Monday or Tuesday so you will have it in plenty of time. Still have not decided if I want to even consider trying to sell these or not. Any comments that any of you have after seeing this in person would be appreciated. Got a lot happening this weekend, but hope to be able to spend a little time on final sanding and finishing the 4 brushes that I am currently working on.

yeah, it wasn't really the ghetto-fabulous style that was "in" when I lived there

I am still interested in going and planning on going. I messaged davisbonanza to see if he wanted to car pool. Is there anyone else in the Austin area that may want to car pool? I don't mind driving. I have a roomy car.
