VENDORS
I talked with the hotel. If you are flying in or driving in you can UPS/FedEx/Mail your packages to the hotel and they will hold them for you until you check in. Be sure to put your name on the package.
If you are not staying at the hotel you can send the packages to my home and I will bring them to the hotel, you could send them to my work, I'll have to check on that first. If you do decide to mail things please do it at least 5 days before the event.
I am still working hard. I have at least 8 requests for sponsorship out there and am waiting to here back. The more people that I can get to sponsor this the cheaper it will make it.
So far I have sent an email to:
Hair M - Men's Salon that does str8 shaves
Ems Place
Classic Shaving
Stumptown Coffee Roasters
Wimere Brothers Brewing
Black Lab Brewing
L'Occitaine
Chopperz - The NON Salon - Men's salon that does str8 shaves
I'd send one to SRD, but I think they are already sponsoring the one in Ohio.
I wouldn't mind renting the equipment and showing the Ed Jeffers Museum video, it is about an hour long (RIP Ed Jeffers) - Any thoughts on this?
I also have an email out the Barber Boards to see if they can hook me up with a local old timey barber to do a str8 demo and take Q & A.

While Oregon is too far away from I applaud your efforts to put this together. Sounds like it's coming together very, very well.

I guess I have been kind of rambling on and on.
Here is my vision of this event.
In one room we will have vendors/casual sellers and displays from collectors.
Another will be where we have the Q & A's, demos, etc.
If I can get some people to do str8 shaves they will be in the third or the back half of the second room.
There will be a breakfast buffet included in the price of admission. Scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, Frangelica infused French toast, bread, juice, coffee.
Computers and wireless are in the hotel for Paypal purchases so no credit card machines are needed. The computers in the lobby I think have printers.
If people want we will have a showing of the Jeffers museum DVD at some point.
Do you think we will need 18 or 30 inch deep tables for the vendors collector displays?
Details details.

I'll probably just end up staying with friends so don't count me for the hotel either.
