FYI: The Super 8 about 5 minutes away is only $41 a night or something ridiculously cheap. I was going to drive home saturday night...but.. its tempting to have a little lie down..even if I do have to leave at 6am the next morning!

Got my order from GN monday and forgot to right about it. Every thing I ordered looks great. I'd post pics but the ones on the site are better than I can take myself.
I wanted to mention that if you would like to make a DE razor or a Brush on the lathe during the get together please let me know ahead of time so I have an Idea of how many people want to and how many each. You should place your orders soon just incase. Also I would suggest getting some kind of material that doesn't need a final finish on it or it wont have time to dry before glueing it together unless you want to do the turning here then final assembly later . I will have some 2 part epoxy for gluing them together and can share depending on how many people are making them. Both the brush heads and the razor heads get glued in place.

Count me in on the brush handle turning, I have a small chunk of mahogony that has been laying around for a few years that may yeild a couple nice handles. I will wait to order knots until my other A.D.'s calm down. Just bought a brush 3 weeks ago and have a Kismish razor that should hit my mail box in the next couple days.

Hey Brad, thanks for the offer on the super 8, but I think i'll stick with my little tent as a back up. I plan driving home but my tent is about 5'x5', is free standing and sets up in about 5 minutes.

Still not sure if I can make it, it's about 50/50. I just got talked into goingto the Bahamas the following weekend so I'll have to see how busy I am then. Ad long as I don't have a pile of jobs I'll make it down.

Talked into the Bahamas huh? That must have taken some arm twisting.

I'm in Indiana but close enough to make it, those dates are good for me. I have tons of razors & can do shaves if you have a barbe chair.

Cool sounds like we will have a few more people there. If any one has a microscope please bring it I'm thinking about getting one soon and would love to see what people are using.

Oh and the Bahamas are just awful you should just cancel that trip. Or if you can't get your deposit back I'd be willing to take your place to save you the anguish of all the terrible beaches and scenery. Thats just the sort of person I am, I'd rather suffer through something than see others have to endure them.

Unfortunately I dont have a barbers chair but we may be able to improvise if some one would like a shave.

Well thanks to a last minute schedule change at work I will be unable to make the meet up as I will be traveling that day.

I won't be able to make it after al, it's been very hot here & I get sick from the heat, can hardly function. Hope there will be another time.
