Thread: NY/NJ Area Meet; Holiday-ish Time of the Year?

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the world of SR's and honing and would love to get together with some fellow enthusiest. I was actually going to send a post to see if there was anyone in the Jersey area that wanted to get together to go over some honing technique. If the invites open, give me a time/date/lcation and I'll try to swing it. I'm in the southern NJ area.

You are certainly welcome to join us. Last time we met about 1/2 mile from the George Washington Bridge. I don't know how far south you are but if everyone shows up, you'll learn a lot about honing.

I'm about 1.5 hrs from gw bridge. Not too bad. Like I said, when you nail down the particulars let me know. I'll definitely try to make it.

That's a nothing commute! You could walk there! It's 5.5 hours for me :-)

(I'm coming down to see family, and a trip to see family is the best excuse to go to razor meets.)

Jeff, if you have a preference for 20 or 21, as our host, please make that decision for us. Otherwise, hopefully people will chime in promptly so we can make this thing happen! I'm already excited for it!

I'm fine for either hypothetically, just a matter of getting someone to cover me at the music store. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Monday, 12/20 0r Tuesday 12/21 makes no difference to me. What time were you thinking?

That is not a problem. I have all day. What time would you want to arrive?

Oh... 10 or 11 maybe? But I'm really not a morning person, so I don't know if others would want to kick things off earlier (if earlier is possible). Don't let me run the show, though, Jeff.
