I would probably head to Alberta for this. Give me another chance to visit my new niece.

I'd be coming from near Saskatoon, SK.

Edmonton is closer to me by an hour, and would be preferable (as thats where my niece is haha).

Edmonton is the closest big city to me. Only about 11 hours of driving from the Northwest Territories....I'd be interested but its a little too far for me at that time of year I'm too busy.
I will probably be moving to Calgary at the end of summer so maybe later...

I can't believe I didn't see this! I wasn't very active on the site during january and the early part of february. I would absolutely be down for this, anywhere in Alberta. It would be great to meet up with some of the people in my own backyard, as well as the guys from Calgary and, as it seems, even further. You can learn a lot from reading and watching videos and such, but I think I will pick up a lot from seeing in person how everyone strops and hones and such. Count me in!

Hmmmmmm, if (a big if) work is slow and I can get away I'll make the trip from PG across the Rockies. I recall only about 3hrs of the drive are ridiculously boring...
    Has a date been set?

Unfortunately no date has been set as this has seemed to have fallen by the wayside. Funny you bring it up, as I was just thinking the other day about reviving this thread and the get-together idea. It seems many of the Albertan members haven't been as active lately.....
