Denver Meetup
Hi people:
I am a newbie with a growing collection(!) of razors and lots to learn and may be able to drive over from Salt Lake--its about 7 hrs. I would sure like to see some honing. I also have a mystery "slate" stone in a hinged box coming soon that I would like some experts to take a look at--crossing my fingers it is a Thuringian.
Will talk to my wife and see if she will let me go. This would confirm her suspicions that I have totally lost it.

Thanked: 0Mile High Madness
The 10th and the 17th work best for me right now. I will start to look around for a good place to meet that is convenient to I-25. Both my father and I should be there.

6gun,
There is a pizza place on Colorado Blvd near I-25 called "The Garlic Knot". They have pretty good pizza, , and a Sunday Bar. I spoke with one of the owners last Friday and mentioned this get together. She said Fridays are pretty busy, but if we let them know in advance they could have a table waiting for us and they don't care how long we hang out. However, 6:30-7 is their busiest time, so we should try to be either before or after that to get better service and fewer crowds.
Did I mention it is next to Rockler?
Just a thought.
