Went to the meeting and all I can say is WOW! What a great bunch of guys! I took two buddies who are not even signed up on the web page and they were as impressed as I was. Everyone was super nice, answered all of our stupid-new-guy questions with patience and kindness.
Special thanks to Glen for the extra time he took with us and again thanks to all the attendants who put up with us and helped us along.
I just had my first shave with a straight razor that was actually sharp and I can believe it! I keep going up to my wife and daughter saying, "Check this out! Ain't my face smooth!!" LOL.
Great bunch of guys. I learned more in a couple of hours than I learned in months of bumbling along on my own and reading everything I could get my hands on. Can't thank you all enough!!

Hey Mike,
Almost forget! What brand of Bay Rum after shave was that you brought us in to smell? I gotta get me some of that! Also, does the Mama Bear brand Bay Rum smell anything like it?
Thanks.
John

A BIG thanks goes out to Don for bringing a couple of giveaway items! What was the name of that cream? What was the name of the 3k hone? That hone was wicked awesome with terrific feedback.
Did anyone snap some pics of the hones and razors by chance?

I've been struggling to get a post to be accepted. Here goes attempt 3..
Alright, a huge thanks to all who came today. We had a great day of education and fellowship. Made some new friends, and learned a lot of new things.
Enormous thanks to Glen and Travis for all the help and patience! Poor Glen worked the whole time. Travis did me a huge favor as well, putting up with me and my dumb questions. Thanks again for your efforts, both of you!!
Great to have met you all, here are some pics I managed to get to come out.
Happy Shaving!!
Mike
More to come, in the next post!!-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

Thanked: 13245Really guys another fun time in the Mile High City
Once I get back in Idaho I can take a look at what all I captured on the Video it recorded 40+ minutes, I think mostly of Mike's/MJHammer, Puma Razor fix, I hope that came out clear...
It was great seeing everyone that was at last years meet, and all the new guys that made this one, every time we end one of these it makes me think of all the stuff we didn't have time to do
Will post the pics and vid when I get home later this week...

I too would like to say thanks for giving us their time. and thanks to all for a great time.
I was having some issues with a Cargill and Glen Fixed that for me. He also did a Torrey earlier. The Torrey gave a great shave this morning. The cargill will be up next.
We got to see some very nice Razors (three by TI are worth more than all my shaving items). It was also nice to see another work hard at lapping a new Norton. I hope someone got a shot of all that work John did, nothing like getting to make a mess while friends look on!
It was definitely work the long drive to Denver to meet you all.
