The cream was Martin de Candre. Congrats to Jeffrey for winning it. Now he will have to get a brush to try it out. Nothing like trying out a great one when you are a newbie. Hope you enjoy it.

Congrats to Tim for winning the TM beginner strop. Hope you like it.

Thanks to Glen and Travis for all the time they put into setting this up and all the work honing during the meet-up. 7 hours goes by way too fast. It was great to meet all of you and hope to see everyone next year.

Hey guys, finally posting after yesterday's slow drive home--lots of construction on 70.

More thanks to Don for bringing the prizes--I'll use the strop this evening, and shave with the blade I polished on your Charnley. It'll be nice to have an extra hanging strop; it'll live in my camper, where I live and shave during the workweek.

Thanks also to the guys who brought cameras, and of course to Glenn and Travis for sharing their honing wisdom. I'm glad I brought a notebook!

And if anyone wonders, the pizza was great at the Garlic Knot.

I'm really glad I got to handle those top-end TIs. It's a relief that the scales are too wide where they pass between my outermost two fingers; now I don't need to worry about buying one. Not that I won't try out a lesser TI at some point, one cheap enough that I can go ahead and file finger notches into the scales.

Great time--it was great to meet all you guys and I look forward to next year's meeting. Best wishes to all.

I was having some issues with a Cargill and Glen Fixed that for me. He also did a Torrey earlier. The Torrey gave a great shave this morning. The cargill will be up next.

We got to see some very nice Razors (three by TI are worth more than all my shaving items). It was also nice to see another work hard at lapping a new Norton. I hope someone got a shot of all that work John did, nothing like getting to make a mess while friends look on!

It was definitely work the long drive to Denver to meet you all.
No kiddin'! I worked my butt off on the Norton! LOL. I had no idea it was so far off. One of the many things I learned during the meet. Good time!

Well, the Knot is still standing and I've not heard about any riots, so it must have gone well. I'm bummed I could not make it. I was in Redstone at a bamboo flyrod builders convention, so that helps me feel better.

I was in the Knot yesterday and spoke with Lynne (one of the owners). She was hoping that we would hold our monthly meetings there as they enjoyed having the group. She was sad when I said it was more like once a year, but still hopes the group comes back.
