I come with good news and bad news. The good news is that I just received a job offer to start my career in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino! The bad news is that I have to move across the country and start my new job in only 10 days which leaves me absolutely no time to try to organize this meet. Even worse is that I can't even make it to the meet when it does happen! Maybe afterwards I can get back to work on this but who knows how busy I'll be.

PS. Come gamble in my casino if you're in Max territory

So Las Vegas meet anyone? I see this as a simple change in venue for the meet, cosmopolitan hotel and casino maybe? I think we might have an "in" ;-) all kidding aside congrats on the new job I'm

Wvlooney is on the other side of the state from me...about 4 hours, but my mom lives in that area not too far from him. so I am familiar with it. I'm not on the map either can't figure out how to set it up.

Congrats on the job. We'll miss you on the forums while you get packed and moved but look on the bright side, max will be there to help you move in!

I would be interested in a meet at Penn State, I have been there about 12 times this year. Mifflinburg is close by and I'd be able to provide a place to meet up also. I think it is about 30 minutes east of State College. Let me know your thoughts.

I don't know how I missed this. I'd definitely be down for a meet. I'll take any excuse to get back to Happy Valley.

again, depending on my schedule,and if i can talk swmbo into it, im game, just not in the middle of july, have a major family reunion to attend in the eastern part of pa, have missed my family for too many years to not get to this one.

Sorry to be out of the loop; moved my home from Harrisburg to the banks of the mighty Susquehanna, north of the burg. I might still be able to put us up, depending on the number and date, at the Spruce Creek Rod and Gun Club, just outside of State College. Breakfast and dinner can be provided on site as can rooms (4 beds to a room, bunkhouse has more if there is a need or rooms are taken by members). Drinking and cigar smoking on premises (no DUIs) is encouraged. State College is just a short jaunt and has great establishments (be careful of the drive back). No time today to look back over the posts to count the likely attendees or preferred dates. Can anyone give me their best estimate of both?
