Thread: Meet in Guelph Ontario

Hey guys this is BarberRino - the barber who's hosting this event with Jay. I am interested in gaining further knowledge of the art of SR shaves. I have been in the trade for about a year and I determined to bring back the SR shave to Guelph! This is what barbering is all about.

I am interested in some of the products that you guys use - soaps, preshave, post shave etc..

Sorry no wobbly pops in the shop - insurance reasons.

I use a shavette due to health board regulations but I am entertaining the idea of using the customers blade if they bring one in. I have to look into this further though.

Very cool Barbrino, we all understand the insurance aspect of Wobbly pops and straight razors. Never mind the insurance. Lol thanks for hosting this coming event. Really cool of you.

I second that. Having the meet in a Barber shop is going to be pretty cool. There will be no shortage of people who can help.

Yeah I am excited as well! is there anyone leaving from Waterloo or Kitchener with whom I can catch a ride? (I share the gas money). I don't have a car and it is really hard to get around by bus.

1- DMT 600 diamond plate
2- Norton 4/8k hone
3- Chinese 12k natural
4- CrO and diamond strops
