    You guys make it so hard to stand firm. But Im gonna have to. This razor I am getting is probably my dream razor. Its one of the first styles I saw when lurking on these forums that I truly fell in love with. I wanna say its an 8/8 or there about Wade and Butcher "The Celebrated". I wont say how much exactly Im paying, but its basically my gas money down there.

    All that aside, I also have a sick kiddo at home I've got to take care of. Single dad here. Plus I think Im catching whatever it is that he has. I know it probably sounds like Im fishing for excuses not to make it, but I figure there will always be another day as well. I know I would like to meet all of you guys, but I guess sometimes life gets in the way of your plans. I hope yall understand.

    Well I will say that, while I may not be able to attend this one, the next one that comes along I will certainly have to be at. Im not sure how frequently these types of meets are done, but from the simple hospitable gestures that yall have shown me so far, the local guys here in Texas seem like what could be the makings of life long friends.

    A thought came to me that I should ask for attendees to bring along their favorite soaps and brushes for inspection.
    I would love to stick my nose above some Martin de Candre?? Also, some different hones to see would be cool!

    I would love to, but my days off are tues & wed. If I had a normal life and had weekends off, you bet your tail end I would be there...I mean heck, there will be shooters & razor guys there! That's the cream of the crop!
